Leading with AI
A 60 minute core course for all staff, covering how AI works, where it helps, where it is risky and how to use it well in their own role. The Advanced pathway goes further for aspiring and current leaders.
Part-funded AI training for state schools
Pedagogue is part-funding the complete Pedagogue AI enablement package for state primary and secondary schools, with the support of the charity AI in Education. Schools pay £495 + VAT and Pedagogue meets the rest. We are looking for sponsors and partners to help us reach the whole state sector.
Open to state-funded primary and secondary schools across the UK: academies, maintained schools, free schools, special schools and alternative provision. Independent schools are not eligible for this programme.
State schools are being asked to respond to AI without the time or money to train their staff. This programme puts the same whole-school package used by leading UK schools into the state sector, starting with 100 places part-funded by Pedagogue.
What each school receives
A 60 minute core course for all staff, covering how AI works, where it helps, where it is risky and how to use it well in their own role. The Advanced pathway goes further for aspiring and current leaders.
A portable certificate for every member of staff who completes the course. It stays with them and evidences their AI capability wherever their career takes them.
The staff workbook that accompanies the course, plus subject and role guides, real classroom use cases, policy templates and INSET materials, ready to use with staff.
Our centre for ideas and research on AI in schools. Schools on the programme are invited to share and showcase their work there openly, so good practice travels across the sector.
Each place covers the whole school, not a single licence.
The ambition
There are 24,923 state-funded primary and secondary schools across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Pedagogue is part-funding the first 100 places to get this started, and each sponsor helps us light up more.

Sponsors and partners
Pedagogue is part-funding the first 100 places. We want to go much further, and we are looking for organisations, foundations and businesses who share our view that AI training should reach every school. Sponsors can fund a single school, a group of schools in a region or trust, or become a founding partner, and will be recognised alongside Pedagogue.
Cover one school's place, so every member of its staff can take the full programme.
Fund anywhere from 10 to 1,000 schools, chosen by region, local authority or trust, or simply where the need is greatest.
Shape a national round with us and be recognised as a founding partner across the programme.

Multi-academy trusts and school groups
Multi-academy trusts, federations and other state school groups are eligible to apply for part-funded places for all of their schools.
